There is a severe thunderstorm warning today, with hail, wind and rain expected. It’s that kind of day today. I weeded for about an hour, but it was so hot and muggy that I could barely stand it. There are lots of new things in bloom, especially my window boxes along the deck. The

The fish are getting quite brave. We seem to have around 12-14 of them. It’s hard to count the little buggers. But they now come to the surface when we feed them, and if we just go to look at them, they think we’re going to feed them, so they all rush over to

Valerie and I gave the lawn its first mowing on Thursday night, after I’d been out of town all week. I think she had more fun driving the little lawn tractor than in actually mowing the lawn, but she did a pretty good job. The finished product in the front — we left the mower

We’re not sure when Skip and his crew is going to show up again this year, and the lawn is looking patchy and barely green, so we broke down and bought 50 pounds of seed and a seed spreader at Agway today. Then when we got home, it actually wasn’t raining at the time
