Starting September

The calendar says September, but it still feels like high summer out in the garden. Lots and lots of yellow flowers in bloom.
I’m not able to do anything after my surgery, yet. Really, I can hardly walk unaided. I was feeling quite a bit of post-surgery depression or something, and just walking around with Frank outside did great things for my mood.
It was really hard not to bend over to get just this one weed, though! He brought me back inside fairly quickly. But I’m really glad I went outside today. I’m really glad the garden is holding up so well without my daily tending.
