Easter Eve

Rose Order

Actually, a lot of today was spent on flowers. Frank told me this morning that our budget would allow us to spend a hundred dollars on roses, and I went wild at Arena Roses. So, coming soon to a garden near me are these beautiful roses that will grow (and hopefully thrive) in zone 4.

If it rains cats and dogs, what does it do when it’s snowing so mightily, I wonder? It’s coming down at about two inches an hour, I’d say. I guess I should be careful what I ask for. But with the drought and the lack of snow cover keeping all my plants protected, I know that snow is good. Pretty, too.
