This guy is definitely at the top of the list for keeping out of the current crop of cockerels running around the farm right now. We haven’t yet decided whether we will keep one or two, but poor Egil just can’t keep up with all of the girls now that Keikur isn’t around anymore.
I’d really like him to have a great Icelandic name, preferably one that is easy to spell and pronounce! Do you have a favorite from the sagas?

How about Valdi…..meaning “he who rules”….ruler of the roost?
