Walk About

We did a walk about after work today, just to see what’s coming up. There are definite daffs and species tulips all over the place at this point. The cats all had a great time following us around, though mostly they enjoyed playing around with me on the front porch deck, dashing around the sawmill

I love it when a plan comes together

Mom, this lady called and said you said she could come over and see the garden. Um, okay. I don’t remember that, except maybe back at the garden tour, but I certainly don’t remember a specific date. I’ve been gone all week, the garden needs to be watered, but sure, drop on by at 2.

Scarlet Tanager

We had a deep woods bird (pair actually, but we only got pictures of the boy) come visit the garden today, a Scarlet Tanager. They were very nervous and skittish, but absolutely beautiful. They seemed to enjoy the waterfall the most, and much bathing fun was had. I wonder if they’ll continue to hang out
