It’s Saturday, it’s warm, I’ve been gone all week, and I couldn’t wait to get out there in the garden and get going. I started this year with my least favorite bed. I figure if I start the spring clean up here, or perhaps I’ll keep it under control and stop avoiding it so much.

It was very rainy all day today, and chilly too. We are getting ready to leave for a ten day vacation in the bay area of California, so I spent much of today doing last minute garden chores before we go. I wonder if it’ll freeze and kill my window box plants while we’re gone?
