A mystery, solved.

We had the oddest thing happen the other day. We’ve had the sheepies out working the side of driveway, all 800 feet long of it. It’s a really narrow strip, probably 12 feet wide. They do a great job on all the brambles and brush, and it’s one of the reasons we got them in

Cast removal, Second Shed Frame

Valerie came over today to help remove the little lame lamb’s cast, finally. It’s been three weeks, I think. Close enough to the month the vet was hoping for. The vet had said anything over two weeks would be fine, and to go as long as we could with it. But the lamb had a

I think everything that we did out in the garden we would have done eventually, it’s just that with that date staring at us hard in the face, we had to do it all in a very abbreviated time frame. Today, we still wanted to be out there, but we didn’t do a single thing except enjoy it. It’s nice to relax and be surrounded with the results of all that hard work. I’m sure we’ll be back to actually gardening soon … but we even went by nurseries and didn’t want to stop and browse today. That’s amazing.

The Marlow Garden Tour

We were up very early this morning, getting ready for the Garden Tour, and I made a list of the stuff I thought had to be done. We even finished it all in time to go see the houses on the tour before ours, which was surprising. The pond was in fine form, with water
