We made quite a bit of progress on the compost bin project. It’s twelve feet long, and will have three separate bins.
We used left over logs from when we built the house. And like all good gardeners, we have the compost pile right out in front of the house so we can show off our black gold like the granola yuppies we are.
Frank has a lot of scrap lumber from various projects around the place, like the deck and the gazebo, so all of the wood we are using other than the left over house logs is also scrap wood. In other words, no actual money is being used in the making of this compost bin!
