Burn, baby, burn

The tree that tried to kill me There’s something rather satisfying about burning the wood from the tree that tried to kill me. Frank worked a lot today bringing a bunch of it in, on top of all the regular chores. I’m still rather useless. I did a little bit of shuffling around and petting Pyrs, but that’s about it. Still, better than yesterday.

We are forecast to get a ton of snow overnight like most of the East Coast. Jeremy and Roki are due here any second. As soon as they get here, it’s officially allowed to bring it on.  We’ll enjoy the heat from the tree that tried to kill me, and some serious family time for people and canines alikes.

I’m glad to see that you are taking the doctor’s advice and remaining inactive. It would be a difficult thing for me to just sit around and mend but in my mature years I’m finding that wisdom is indeed and better thing to follow than a strong will.

Have a great recovery week until the New Year comes.
